Shasa Designs was created by two best friends with a heart and passion for dance, music and fashion. The name and business plan was developed with 30 minutes before touchdown after returning back from a Bachata Festival in the middle of the night, both suffering from sleep deprivation due to a 4 day dance holiday. Both bring a unique skill set to the team and are excited for what the future may hold! "Everything just fell into place, ideas began to flow and the vision was formed and put it into motion right away."
Meet Sharon and Sara. Together their names create ShaSa.
Sharon completed her undergraduate degree in Cambridge and her Masters degree from Bath, England. She spent her gap year at the European University of Madrid, Spain. She has lived all around the world, speaks four languages fluently and loves to travel and dance. Eight years ago she relocated from England to the United States and started her own company, where she has become well known and a trusted linguistic adviser throughout the community.
Sara has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a double minor in Spanish and Marketing from the University of Nevada; She has studied, lived and traveled throughout Central and South America. Sara is an avid volunteer and has spent a great deal of time giving back to her community where she has worked with organizations such as Junior Achievement, PEAK partners of Pasco, Hispanic Academic Achievers Program, Salvation Army and The American Cancer Society.
Both reside in Washington state and dance a combination of Cuban Salsa, LA Salsa on 1, Bachata, Kizomba and Argentine Tango. After traveling internationally and seeing the need for the dance community to have stylish clothing options, Sharon and Sara have put together their first collection.
Shasa Designs is able to design and print the unique custom look you have been looking for! Anything from shirts, tank tops and racer back tops. Our company was intended for instructors, teams, dance studios, festivals and congresses but has already been approached about other printing needs the community may have. Pretty much the sky is the limit!
